Scheels Sports Park


Book the NEW SCHEELS Sports Park at Legacy Pointe which boasts a 190,000+ square foot air dome, the largest in the nation! In addition, they offer multi-use fields inclusive of diamonds with corner infields, a hitting center, food trucks, bar and pavilion. Set just adjacent to SCHEELS, the location is just minutes from dozens of sites, attractions and dining opportunities to fill downtime.

The multi-use layouts allow the park to be utilized as:

  • *6 NCAA regulation baseball fields
  • *15 outdoor softball/younger age baseball
    2 indoor softball/younger age baseball
  • *8 NCAA regulation soccer/lacrosse fields
    (or 16 youth soccer fields)
    1 indoor rectangular field
  • *Indoor Dome that is 196,000+ square feet, 6 basketball courts, 12 volleyball courts (permanent), additional flooring can be placed over the turf fields to increase the number of courts or floor space.
  • * Total volleyball with additional courts - 28
  • *Total basketball with additional courts - 14
  • * Turf cannot be rolled up
  • * Bleecher seating can be added, 3,000
  • *1200 parking spaces immediately in front of the complex

BOS Gymnastics


The Bank of Springfield Center is a multi-use facility with 40,000 square feet of column-free space, 4,000+ permanent seating, 4 locker rooms and 30,000 additional square feet of meeting space.

The facility is located in the heart of downtown and just feet away from full service hotel accommodations.

Hosted 2022 AAU National Age Group Gymnastics, NCAA DII Wrestling Regionals and the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association Annual Competition

University of Illinois Springfield


Home to TRAC, short for The Recreation and Athletic Center, is home of the UIS Prairie Stars volleyball and basketball teams. It also serves as the home for all the athletic offices and is located on the south edge of campus. This state-of-the-art facility seats nearly 3,000 fans and includes chairback seating while boasting the latest equipment for recreational activities.

  • *Softball Complex with six main fields and two additional fields.
  • *UIS Baseball Field – has 1 NCAA regulation field
  • *Kiwanis Stadium - home to the Prairie Stars soccer teams, this stadium has a rich history and features grass with seating for over 1,500 fans.
  • *The Springfield Area Soccer Association Complex, showcasing 10 full-sized grass fields and can be used for other sports such as football, archery, field hockey and lacrosse.
  • *UIS Cross Country Course - a dedicated course for cross country training and competition.
  • *UIS Esports Arena - located in Founders Residence Hall, this arena is equipped for competitive gaming with specialized computers and consoles.
  • *The East Soccer Complex has 10-12 fields, restrooms, concessions


The UIS facilities have been host to the 2024 Springfield Celts Rugby Tournament, the US Boomerang 2024 National Championship, 2024 GLVC Cross Country Conference Championship and annually hosts the SASA Regional Soccer Tournament


Spartan Sports Park


Spartan Park is located in nearby Chatham is a spacious facility.

The complex features:

IL State Fair Track


Illinois State Fairgrounds located on historic Route 66 is home to the fastest one-mile, oval dirt mile, suitable for auto or horse racing. The Grandstands accommodate 8,912 spectators. This location is ideal for agricultural events and is home to many equestrian events annually. The recently renovated Coliseum is a 27,956 sq ft arena with 2,688 permanent seats.

The Multi-Purpose outdoor arena is a 6-acre arena floor at 261,000 sq ft with 4,688 permanent seats, concessions and an additional 3,000 seat amphitheater.
