ILLINOIS STATE FAIRGROUNDS

This venue is home to one of the country's oldest and most renowned state fairs, but the huge annual summer event is only the beginning. The Fairgrounds is the perfect spot for agricultural conventions, shows, and expositions. It's also well-suited for car club rallies and shows, auctions or swap meets, or sporting events, such as harness racing, dirt bike races, horse and dog shows, and more. Host an event in the stately, historic Expo Building with more than 60,000 square feet, or go large with the drive-in doors and 39,000 square feet at the Orr Building. The Illinois Building features an auditorium and theater seating for 470, and the Arena offers a coliseum for more than 7,000 spectators. Fairgrounds facilities allow you to create the ideal blend of large and small, old and new. All facilities are within a convenient distance, with plenty of available parking.
