Visit Springfield is heading to Kansas City, MO this Thursday, April 27 with America’s beloved 16th President, Abraham Lincoln. 

Visit Springfield, in partnership with Carvertise has six wrapped Uber and Lyft cars circulating in the market from March-August to entice, educate, encourage and inspire vacationers to consider Springfield, IL for their summer travels.

Springfield is just over four hours east of K.C., straight on over U.S. 36!  Close, convenient and affordable family fun is just a short way from home.  We know this summer will be filled with travelers looking for ways to save money and Springfield provides the best location to accomplish this.

Visit Springfield and Abraham Lincoln will be participating in a Carvertise vehicle swarm at the Penn Valley Dog Park parking lot located at 2926 Wyandotte Road.  From 11am-1pm there will be photo ops with President Lincoln and the six wrapped vehicles.  Following this event, the Visit Springfield team and Mr. Lincoln will travel into the NFL Draft Fan Experience to take advantage of all the activities offered in Memorial Park.  The day will wrap-up with the team taking part in observing the Red Carpet entry of the 2023 NFL Draft!
