Join the New Philadelphia Association in Springfield, IL, on Sept. 13, 2026, to celebrate Free Frank Freedom Day, commemorating the freedom of Frank McWorter, entrepreneur, freedom seeker, and founder of New Philadelphia, IL. Hosted by the New Philadelphia Association in partnership with the Illinois State Museum and the National Park Service, this FREE event features brief presentations, a meet-and-greet, refreshments and special exhibits.
From 12-2pm, the Illinois State Museum and National Parks Service will host hands-on activities for children and their grown-ups.
Free and open to the public, but space is limited, so reservations are required for the 2-4pm program
