Start the Year Right with a First Day Hike
Whether you're a seasoned explorer or a first-timer on the park's trails, it's the perfect way to start the year outdoors. You are welcome to hike any of the 7 miles of trails at New Salem, but Trails & Greenways will be hosting hikes along Cardinal Ridge Trail (1-mile) and Shickshack Trail (½-mile) located on the east side of the historic site.
