VIRTUAL FIELD TRIP
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources invites you to experience Walk, Hike and Bike History, an active way to explore Illinois' capital city. Walk, Hike, Bike History is a series of inspiring outdoor experiences that connect you to "must-see" museums and monuments in the capital city. Guided by history education interpreters from IDNR, experiences range in duration from one to two hours. Reservations, which are required can be made on the IDNR website. All experiences are free, and donations are appreciated.
All experiences are free, donations accepted and require registration. Please visit the IDNR website here for a link to Eventbrite registrations and to learn more.
It is the practice of the Illinois DNR that if the National Weather Service issues a heat advisory, the Walk Hike Bike program will be cancelled for that day.
