Immerse yourself in Springfield’s history with a Poetry & Craft Beer Walking Tour! Join Walt Whitman (as portrayed by Brian “Fox” Ellis) guiding you through poetry, history, and a flight of craft beer. Experience Whitman’s poetic affection for Lincoln and
his admiration for local brews. The tour spans 10 blocks and is free; however, participants are responsible for purchasing their own beverages. Please drink responsibly. Tour starts outside the Lincoln-Herndon Law Office on the Plaza at 5pm. Tour finishes by 7pm.
