The Hoogland Center for the Arts is pleased to present Katie Deal in Crazy for Patsy Cline on Sunday, July 21 at 3 p.m. Katie has previously appeared at the Hoogland in “Classic Nashville Roadshow” and “A Tribute to Patsy Cline,” entertaining  sold-out crowds with her amazing voice and personality.

Having sold out two national tours of "A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline,” Katie has proven herself one of the very best interpreters of Patsy Cline’s music.  In this tribute, you'll learn a little bit about Katie, a little bit about Ms. Patsy, and a lot about why Patsy’s music - from "Crazy" to "I Fall to Pieces" - is still loved by so many Country Western fans today.

As a seasoned professional and a member of Actors Equity Association, Katie’s approach to Ms. Cline’s music is authentic and earnest. In "Katie Deal – Crazy for Patsy Cline," Katie truly captures the essence of Patsy with her energy, emotion and devotion to the subtle details in Patsy's tremendous voice all the while spinning a tale of her own.

Award-winning entertainer, Katie Deal has performed to sold out houses across the US and Canada. A Georgia-born artist, Katie is best known for her authentic country sound. She is the 2016 recipient of the Georgia Country Artist of the Year Award and an honored member of the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame.

As a recording artist and singer-songwriter, Katie has written and performed with top Nashville songwriters: Bruce Burch (hit songwriter for Reba McEntire,) Amanda Colleen Williams (hit songwriter for Garth Brooks,) Brandon Bush (hit songwriter and musician for Sugarland) and John Driskell Hopkins (hit songwriter and member of Zac Brown Band.) Katie is also a frequent soloist for the Atlanta Pops Orchestra.
