Meet the Questioneers, five fearless second-graders who ask questions, solve problems, and explore the world around them! There’s Ada Twist, scientist; Rosie Revere, engineer; Iggy Peck, architect; Sofia Valdez, future prez, and Aaron Slater, illustrator. They’re the stars of the best-selling series of books by author Andrea Beaty and artist David Roberts.

This special exhibit at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum will let young visitors play games and solve problems just like their counterparts in the books. They’ll be able to build flying contraptions, transform Mount Trashmore into a park, fly a “cheese-copter” and investigate why clocks go tick-tock. Or they can simply sit, read and think big thoughts. Visitors will also be able to see the Questioneers books come to life in videos and learn how to draw the characters.

This exhibit, developed by the DuPage Children’s Museum, promotes personal empowerment, curiosity, and perseverance. With different abilities, races, ethnicities, genders, and upbringings, each character is uniquely capable and committed to their creative, STEAM-based pursuits.

The ALPLM will offer a special $1 admission price for children on February 17th, March 16th, April 20th, & May 4th.
