Exhibits depicting Spies, Traitors & Saboteurs, exploring Illinois Fashion of the 1800s and honoring African American Baseball history...you won’t want to miss them!

Illinois State Museum
March 21 to January 10, 2021
There is perhaps no more intimate connection to the people of the past than the clothing they left behind…
A celebration of 19th century Illinois clothing that explores both the personal experience of wearing and caring for clothing as well as
the way that fashionreflected the changing roles and attitudes about women over the first 80 years of Illinois statehood.

Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum
March 27 to August 30
Spies, Traitors, and Saboteurs reveals nine major events in history when Americans were threatened by enemies within the United States borders.
This exhibit depicts how the government and the public responded, highlighting the evolution of U.S. counterintelligence and homeland security efforts,
as well as examining the challenge of securing our nation without compromising the civil liberties upon which it was founded.

Springfield & Central Illinois African American History Museum
April 11 to June 26
Developed by the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in 2014 to honor and explore the connections of African American baseball history to
Hispanic cultures, communities and countries. This is a deep, rich history with origins in the late 1800s. The exhibition features profiles of significant
baseball players, a timeline of American and Hispanic baseball history, and detailed baseball histories of several countries.
