Five nights of fireworks and the Capital City Celebration in Springfield, IL and the surrounding area!

Check out the events below to help plan your long holiday weekend.

June 30: Levitt Amp Concert & Fireworks: Start the weekend off with a Latin fare and watch Charanga Tropical perform at the Y block.  Fireworks to follow the show.

July 1: Rock the Dock Independence Day Celebration: Head over to Lake Springfield Marina and enjoy food/drink vendors and music from Off the Wall before watching the largest over the water fireworks celebration in Central Illinois

July 2: Chatham Jaycees Freedom Fest: Take a short drive to Chatham Community Park and enjoy food, fun, & fireworks at Freedom Fest 2022. 

July 2-3: Capital City Celebration: Enjoy a weekend of fun-filled family events in downtown Springfield at the CCC.  See below for a list of events.  The celebration caps off with a fireworks display over beautiful downtown on 
July 3rd. 
July 3: Sherman Fireworks Spectacular:  Watch the sky light up at Village Park in nearby Sherman.

July 3-4: Springfield Lucky Horseshoes Baseball & Fireworks: Come cheer on the Lucky Horseshoes at Robin Roberts Stadium with a fireworks show after the game.  It's a fireworks double-header at the ball park, with postgame fireworks both July 3rd & 4th. 

July 4: Knights Action Park/Route 66 Twin Drive-In Fireworks: After spending a fun day at the waterpark or playing mini-golf and riding the Go-Karts, watch the amazing display of fireworks near Knights Action Park.  After the fireworks, catch a movie playing at the Route 66 Twin Drive-In.
