Springfield Illinois has carefully preserved our Lincoln treasures for a long time and we intend to celebrate Abraham Lincoln’s birthday like no other city in America!!
We want to educate the world about the man who called Springfield home.
We want to share the history that is still evident in the streets of Springfield.
We want to leave a legacy for future generations about the years Lincoln spent in
Springfield, Illinois – forming his ideals of freedom, equality and opportunity.
